what a waste...

... we were only away in corfu for 8 days - have backblipped, see here, but came back to find all the apples have fallen from the earlier-producing tree, (the other tree has 2 apples this year - seems to be fruiting only every second year these days,) and the slugs, woodlice, millipedes, birds & wasps are feasting like anything! will just have to juice the windfalls - all too damamged to store....
