Coffee horrorshow

No matter how you tart up this poster it still looks like a crappy cup of coffee. Looking at it does not make me want to ever taste what they're going to put in the cup. As advertising it has failed.

As a rule I don't drink coffee from Starbucks, Costa, Caffe Nero, Beanscene or any other chain. Most people who work there know very little about preparing coffee correctly. They might know how much coffee to put in the portafilter, they'll know which button to push on the espresso machine, but it's pretty much guaranteed they won't know the first thing about adjusting the grind to get a better shot. They won't even taste it to see if it's good on not or clean the equipment properly or regularly enough.

Once we get to adding milk these chains are basically selling buckets of coffee flavoured milk with various additives like squirts of cream and dollops of flavoured syrup.

It's not what I'd call coffee.
