old neighbourhood. tucked in behind the massive modern apartment complex that i live in is this charming hill neighbourhood that doesn't appear to have changed much over the past 30 or 40 years. Neighbourhoods like this are constantly being razed to make room for new development. Fortunately, there has recently been a sort of public recognition that destroying the city's historical identity isn't necessarily the best of ideas. Hopefully this neighbourhood will still be here in another 50 years.
