I have often walked, down this street before
But you know, when I came to work here, I had never noticed the business here.
It was once a lovely residential street, but now is full of Dentists, (i can see at least two), Accountants, (again two), a business centre, a homeless Advice.
There is a hairdresser at the top of the road, and a lovely little restaurant called Saffy's. There is also a sandwhich bar, TastyAyr and right at the top of the road, the Ramada Hotel.
There is a bar, right under a Hostel for "troubled" souls. Hmm, Yes, the least said about them the better! And a chemist at the end of the street, so that the troubled souls can collect their "medication" with the minimum fuss.
We might not have Costa or Starbucks, but we do have a Beanscene, a mere 100 yards away, and I can confirm that their Oreo and Vanilla Ice Cream Sundaes are JUST what you need after a hectic morning! Next door to Beanscene is the lovely Ayr India, where we will be decending upon to celebrate 5 years of the Company.
We are Equidistant between the shore and the town centre. Both equally lovely for a walk at lunch time, however the beach is the better choice if you don't what to smoke other people's cigarettes.
The building itself is gorgeous! Probably because it was the home of a fellow business occupant who has a fantastic flair for all things design and arty. I love all the nooks and cranys and if I could get rid of all the boys and their computer stuff, I think me and the ladies next door could have a palace to play in!
In response to Amalari... yes, and that was why I'm going to do another blip of a tree which grows at the end of the street, in the strangest of places... I'm going to have to plan that shot, because I'm not sure where to get the best angle!
