On The Road Again

Travel day.

I spent the whole morning packing for my rafting trip. It shouldn't have taken that long but I got dis...dis...ohhhhh shiny...what was I saying?

Spent 4 hours in the car heading to Pennsylvania to go rafting. It was a long ride but I had Nick and David to keep me company. We talked the whole ride there, only pausing for me to stick my head out the window of our car (stuck in traffic, of course) to take a picture of the George Washington Bridge. I got a lot of nice pictures but I think this reflected the mood of the day better...calm. The leaves just kept getting better the further west we went. We got there around 5:30 and it was quite chilly. We cooked a delicious meal of black bean chicken chili and corn bread. Yummy! We stayed up a while looking at all of the stars. They were amazing! I saw Jupiter too :)
