Queensland Holiday - Day 11 - Underwater World

Spence woke up feeling good so we decided to go to Underwater World this morning. It is only about half an hour away in Mooloolaba and has a seal show, a moving walkway that takes you through a tunnel with the fish and sharks swimming above and around you, turtles, otters, sting rays and other underwater creatures!

We go there just after it had opened at 10am and looked at the different fish, then went to the seal show then looked at the rest of the creatures. We had finished by 11.30 so went out and had some lunch then went to look at the beach.

It has been raining for three or four days, at times quite heavy, which is unusual for this time of year up here. The rivers that run into the sea are all dirty brown from the run off, so that has made the sea turn brown. It is vastly different from the last time we were up here. It will fix itself in the next week or so as long as it doesn't rain a lot!

We didn't spend a lot of time on the beach because Spence was tired and he got a bit cold. He loved running towards the water then back up the beach when a wave came!

Today's blip is Spence doing that as well as a lobster from Underwater World!

Tomorrow we are going to Dreamworld for the day! We are hoping that it doesn't rain!
