Lone Daisy

This large daisy is making a lone stand in a boarder of garden at the Village Club that finished flowering a while ago. I have walked past it twice a day for the last week and thought its efforts should be recognised; and today is that day!

Managing to walk about 6 miles a day at the moment, but it is hard with both the nights and mornings drawing in. Tomorrow I shall walk to work (after I have walked the hound!)!

The hound is still managing to escape from the garden despite John's attempts at patching! John announced tonight that he would be buying a roll of wire to redo that side of the garden at the weekend ... Hound your days of freedom are numbered!
