Whirring blades
I'd guess this must be one of, if not the, oldest windfarms in the UK. Over on the east side of Bodmin Moor (that's the peak of Brown Willy, I think, in the background).
They look a bit heath robinson compared to the modern ones. A lot smaller for a start and all square edges and rather noisy blades, which you don't get so much on the new ones. Thought I might be able to get an entire circle for the blades but they were moving too slow for that and simply disappeared at slow shutter speeds. After much playing with the two polarisers to slow down the exposure this was the result. :)
