I was inspired to take this blip by Clean Slate's three year old son blipping yesterday. Something about the metal and concrete against the blue sky offset by autumn foliage caught my eye.
This is the exhaust tower for the district heating system on campus. The new buildings will also be heated by gas, but that will be generated on site by converting wood chippings. The conversion process will not only produce storable gas for the district heating, but will also generate heat as a by-product, which can then be used to heat the swimming pool. Neat!
