Parents Evening

Tonight was Callum's first parents evening at his new school. He's settling in well and excelling in his classes. Hoorah. So far parents evenings have always been so pleasant - I hope they stay that way.

Afterwards the sun was glowing orange over Lancaster, but no matter where we drove we couldn't get a decent enough view. Plus the petrol light was flashing so I didn't want to stray too far. So, after filling up I drove him to Morecambe and caught all his loveliness in this picture.

I would have bought him an ice-cream as a celebration of doing so well, but we had to suffice with apple strudel and custard in the warmth of our own home instead.
