"Music" Time
50 weeks + 6
Today we had the pleasure of looking after our little friend Jack for the morning. He was a joy to have, very tired though, bless him so he did a lot of sleeping. I took both children to tea and toast, Jack slept for half of it, Katie played, hoovered her toast and played some more.
Afterwards we met friends at the play cafe, some other friends were there so that was an added bonus. She had a lovely time in the playhouse, bashing away at the cooker with a teapot, as you do. The photo is Katie making 'music' on the big hanging xylophone thing. Otherwise known as standing banging them backwards and forwards - as all the children do.
For lunch Katie tried beans for the first time! She had a jacket potato with cheese and beans; the staff loved watching her eat real food as they've seen her going from a tiny newborn to a proper little girl.
We went for a walk out to the post office late afternoon and Katie enjoyed her first leaf kicking. She was very excited by the crunching of the leaves as she walked. She then briefly saw the cousins, so was extra excited!
