Good intentions

How many running shoes have I bought in my life?

Today was the first time I have actually run in about 20 years (not counting playing tennis or other game). I just don't like to run. This doesn't stop me from buying running shoes however.

So today I did it differently -- I went to the gym (I need to strengthen my knee after the knee op I had) and I had a run. Not a long one, but a run. And it's supposed to be part of my training for the next few months so I had better get used to the idea.

After the run I bought the shoes. I hope that's not a "kiss of death" for my training.
