Apples?

No - not apples at all. Looking for something colourful on a rather overcast grey day. With an exam looming this afternoon, obviously I'm looking for anything and everything else to do other than read the glossary one more time.

Nothing very cheerful out there. Then I spotted these, Pyracantha I think. Anyway, in close up they do look like red apples ready to pick.

So - about the brightest thing out there on todays expedition.
