Jeff Mezera - Project 365

Day 275 of 365

Today we toured Barcelona, Spain. This city truly surprised me. I will without a doubt be returning shortly. It's an amazing city with such a huge diversity of architecture and culture, I could easily spend an entire week there. Of course, my shot today had to be of the building that made the largest impression on me of the entire trip - the Sagrada Familia.

Words, nor pictures can do this building any justice. The wide angle lens from across the street was necessary to get the entire structure in one shot. Despite its enormous size, every square inch is covered in such intricit details. It's easy to see why it's literally taken over a hundred years to build and why it will still take another estimated 30 to finish.
