Algae Bloom

I was cycling across the short bridge over Lake Washington that connects the "mainland" from Mercer Island and a rather large algae bloom caught my eye. It was such a sight that I had to stop on the bridge and pull out my iPhone to snap a photo. By the time I returned a little while later after cycling around the island with a few friends, this particular bloom was gone. But many others could be seen along the shore....
