Superb blue sky day and what a welcome to Assynt for Edwards' Eye on his first trip north of Inverness.

Davey (my older brother) won the clay pigeon shoot with consistent scoring and Leo got the booby prize; collecting broken clays. I shot like a Spanish Donkey.

After a trip to Achmelvic Beach, we enjoyed a superb meal in the Drumbeg Hotel followed by good craic with Mairi, Ewen and the village locals. What a day.
