Clos de la Roilette 2007

Clos de la Roilette 2007 from Appelation Fleurié in Rhone!

Grape: Gamay

A red wine! Not a very deep colour, you can look right through the glass, this is not always due to a young wine!. (If a wine has pale colour and brick coloured rims you can almost always tell that the wine is older!)
As the wine age it loses it colour and intensity!

Fruity with aromas of strawberries, coctail cherrys and a hint of oak.

High acidity, medium tanins and balanced alcohol! Still fruity but more darkfruits here on the palate, hints of dark cherries, still oak nuttines and dried figs.

Not a very intense flavour and it doesnt stay in the mouth very long.

Good wine due to a nice fruit on both palate and nose! This wine could use a couple of years in the cellar so that it would develop more complexity!

Im sad taking it out so early! I cant buy another bottle here in sweden on Systembolaget!

Also, forgot to say this but my little brother gave this bottle to me on my 20th birthday! Hes 17 but bought this in france in a store even though its ilegall! Im not saying its the right thing to do from the seller but i thank him/her for letting him! This was a speciall wine for me! Love you little brother!
