Cop Copter On The Range

You don't see this every day. A helicopter landed on the driving range at the club by our house this afternoon. It's pretty close to the clubhouse too.

I was home for lunch and kept hearing this chopper flying around in low pass by's over the golf course and over the neighborhood. At one point it was quite loud and by the sound I realized it must be landing. I could see it coming in over the trees in the backyard so I grabbed the camera and walked up to catch a few snaps. I wish I could have been on the other side of the fence but this was the best of the bunch from street side. Not sure what the point was; picking up or dropping off, but it was pretty cool. This helicopter belongs to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
