Back to a routine at last

Morning. 6:30am. Coffee and bacon sandwich on the go in front of me, items of clothing going on as and when I have a few seconds between cooking breakfast, drinking coffee, cooking lunch and needing to leave the house.

I'm still no fan of early wakeup calls but I was willing to overlook it in the relief of knowing that I now have a job. I am once again able to hold my head up as a Useful Member of Society who has some self esteem. Having no job really did a lot to kill my general mood and self esteem right off.

My feet are propped on a chair in front of me as I type this having got home from the first shift; I was on my feet almost all shift and they do hurt rather now but hey I really don't care!
