Britomart

Yesterday I flew up to Auckland for the night and today. I was fortunate enough to get one of the introductory $9 fares from Pacific Blue, so for $18 return why wouldn't you go!

I haven't posted yesterdays blip yet, as it needs some work. But last night my Dad and I went out fishing in his boat - caught a good lot of snapper and we stayed out for the evening. This morning we awoke in a beautiful bay, had breakfast and then motored back to the marina. I got to my 9.30am meeting with 1 minute to spare!

As it was in the central city and I had an hour to kill afterwards, I wandered around with my camera. Great fun. I ended up at the Britomart train station which I have to say is blip paradise, I've had quite a job choosing which image to post.

This one won out in the end, I really like the people being blurred - portrays the busyness. Hard to believe I handheld this while going up the escalators!

Anyway, back in Christchurch now. Normal programme resumes.
