Dolomiti the first day

After enjoyingthe human creations of Rome, Florence, and Venice we headed to the Dolomities. I has wanted to see them in the "flesh" or "rock "so to say since I was very young. Unfortunatley a two day rain system moved through the area. This is as clear as it ever was. The highest peaks were already in the clouds.

I did get to do a short hike and enjoyed many late season alpines
