Not the Thundering Deer..

I'm no expert in these (or probably any) matters, but I think this is cow parsley.
(I imagine all the trendier bovines are sprinkling it over their entrees when entertaining this season.)

I was merely pleased to see that only flowering thing on my walk today was framed already (albeit in barbed-wire fencing!).

Another amazing thing happened on the walk - A deer thundered through the trees, heading straight for me! I wondered for an instant whether it was a wild boar. (I'm of a nervous disposition).
A photographer's dream.
You'd think.
I was as unprepared as only a woman with attachment issues regarding a macro lens could possibly be. I did manage to take a vague shot of the amazing creature. It's very blurred. But, I was awed enough to seriously consider blipping it!
