Roadside rest

A long drive this day. Banff to Vancouver and about 12 hours including stops. A little road weary and feeling uninspired at this point. I think we all recognize this roadside rest stop image. Abandoned at this point in the season. All the other travellers whom we might have met during the summer are otherwise occupied, at work, home or school. I can imagine families filling these two picnic benches, friendly pushing and shoving, the to-ing and fro-ing as parents rested and then gathered their children for the next leg of the journey.
