Looking east
I spent a couple of hours grubbing about at the allotment - the wind was definitely from the east because I could smell Seafield. Then D picked me up and we went to the bottle bank (we certainly know how to enjoy ourselves, eh?). There was a bit of time left on the car club booking so we went home via the scenic road round Arthurs Seat. The swans up at Dunsapie only seem to have one cygnet with them now. :-(
Normally from this viewpoint one can see Cockenzie power station at the other side of Musselburgh bay, with North Berwick and Traprain Law in the distance. Today it was hard even to distinguish the sea from the general murk.
