D-I-Y

If this would be blipblog for some young rapper wearing huge sneakers and official shirt of Lakers etc I would put "The place where the magic happens" as a title. However this is not and thus title is called do it yourself even the photo is from our bedroom ;)

Today it was raining and we could not spend the day outside as planned with our son U. Or of course we could, but.. Luckily we had a plan B as we bought new futon to replace our old master bed and needed frame for it. With Mrs.Mrok have been looking some factory ready full size solutions for week or two but have not found anything reasonably priced which would have good and simple looks in addition to the sturdy build.

So today me and U were waiting at the door of local hardware store 5 mins before opening time. Bought some ready planed wood (European Alder) according to the plans had in my mind and also some furniture screws. After 4hours and 15 minutes of hard work the frame was ready in our bedroom and Mrs.Mrok gave her acceptance by testing it with our futon. It looks really narrow in the pic but luckily it's only the angle.

After some time it was really fun to do something _real_ work with these own hands. Naturally doing diy things in better location with appropriate tools would lead to even better results. Still quite happy for this one and now sauna is warming up and going to have one or two dark beers for the job well done.
