Late flowering

It is 22 deg in our garden this afternoon, it feels like summer. But I know it is not because these flowers are out. I am not sure what they are, they look a bit like Agapanthus but I think they are just too late flowering to be that.

We brought them from my mother-in-law's garden when we sold up the family house. Mother-in-law grew them in a pot, where they had multiplied so much they were wedged in. I was just able to split the bundle of bulbs in half, this bunch, that gets the most sun, does best.

The most amazing thing is that once they begin to bloom they continue till the first frost which in our garden is often not before Christmas
