Managed to leave work on Friday bang on 5:30 as I knew that S was in town pottering about doing a couple of things after her work.
Our wanderings took us onto George Street for a bit of a look round Paperchase which is one of S's vices. I managed to prize her out of the shop with nothing in her sticky mitts.

Now that we've got out honeymoon booked we headed into Waterstones to find some more books for our chosen destination. I found that with us being in there the Amazon app for my iPhone came into it's own. A couple of photos later and a couple of things in the basket we left the shop (again) with nothing in our hands but an amazon order for the same books, but heavily discounted!
If I ever get a new phone this will be one app that I will miss - it is just so useful.

With it being Friday my motivation to cook went out the window, but I did managed to reheat some of my home made soup from earlier in the week - which was still bloody good ;-)
