'DIY'

If I just take Joe out of the equation for a moment - I do love a man doing DIY around the house....

I am unsure as to whether he will actually be able to fix the tap! Time will tell and no doubt when I get home from work we may have to buy new ones!!

Joe is of course on hand to help with a wooden spanner or old rusty drill bit in case thats required.

update: the male warrior hunter gatherer and fixer has repaired the irrepairable!

for the men out there, heres the technical info ( women can move on to the next post).

The phillips groove had been obliterated by previous owner when screwing in the tap - it was therefore impossible to unscrew it. I used a fine drill bit to excavate the screw so it collapsed in on itself and could be removed. When removed the repair could be made and a new screw used.
