Hand-me-down. Or should that be hand-me-up?

My trusty iron steed. I guess it's about 16 or 17 years old now and originally belonged to my son. He kindly repainted it to a colour of my choice and gave it to me when he bought himself a new Trek.

Its main drawback is that it's not lightweight. But it does the job and it's very useful. And I don't feel too paranoid about it being nicked when I lock it up on the street. On shopping trips I add panniers at the back.

Needs: new brake pads, a bell (!) and some good lights for this winter.
