Autumn stump

Spent some time in my parents garden with the tripod. The garden was quite barren of colour now that autumn is here and the sky has been grey all day.

The apples from the tree have now mostly fallen on the ground, in fact a couple hit the floor when I was out there, but I thought the branch stump of the tree provided an interesting shot.
