Shrine

Isn't it funny how you can not know about the presence of things in your home town until tourists point them out to you?

Most of the day was spent in various meetings in the office, but finished earlier to go meet C (still not going back to the us until Friday) for an early dinner. After eating we went to look at one of those things I didn't know about - the shrine to Ianto from torchwood, down where the entrance to torchwood is supposed to be.

It's kind of amusing, but also very interesting that people feel strongly enough about a fictional character to do this. I think it's less of a shrine to Ianto and more of a shrine to the power of fiction.
