I came into the kitchen area of the dorms to find one of the girls cooking limes on the stove. In Thai she explained that you must burn the outside of the lime then use the cooked juice inside to make your hair shiny (I think.) The smell filled the whole common room. Some people liked it, but most entered and asked what the horrible smell was. It smelled like a strong citrus cleaner. We are all going to another wedding tomorrow, so maybe this is preparation...who knows... :)
