Pink Glow on the Beach

Today has been a down day. It was one of those day when you feel like to whole world is caving in on you and there is no where to escape. I had a lot of emotional things going on , which made it hard to work. I did manage to get through the day, though, pushing myself every step of the way. I shed quite a few tears here and there too.

As evening approached, things were still heavy on my mind, so I went out to my favorite pier, but I was a little late and the sun had already set. I thought "this is just great, a final chapter to a bad day". Soon, though, I noticed that the afterglow from the sun was shining on the sand and it was pretty awesome. So, I reflected on my day, and I concluded that there were some things right with the world, and seeing God's love in this beauty made me feel much better.

Now, I can face another day.
