Ice - A transparent crystalline solid

A cold night brought the first frost to my backyard, by the time I was up though the sun was out and most of the frost had melted away. There was layer of ice on the surface of one of the buckets which I thought might photgraph well, I took it from the bucket and positioned it so the sunlight was shining on it. I took several shots but liked this best as the light has picked out the melting ice nicely.
