Lazy afternoon in the garden

It is a very beautiful, warm autumn day here. Taken Ozzie for a romp around the park, ran some chores and then decided to just enjoy the afternoon's peace before the children get home. Throwing the ball to the dog, chucking him a bone to chew on (which he is oddly slightly scared of, my little neurotic pup) and then lying out on the bench and reading my book. Heavenly.

Of course, in 15 minutes when my rowdy 4 get home from school demanding snacks, a game or two and a movie night, all this peace will be forgotten but, right now, I'm enjoying the chance to just be.
