Long shadows

When i left on a holiday nearly 2 weeks ago we were at the end of summer. Returning this morning I was struck by how quickly Autumn makes its presence felt. These shadows on my lounge floor were cast by a low sun at lunchtime and they and the warmth of the tones spoke of Autumn.
