To Market, To Market...

Left the house far too late today as our trusty alarm clock (otherwise known as Emma) has left us!

Due to this we didn't do a tea ceremony today as planned, but we did discover a great market just a short walk from us, in downtown Kyoto. It was full of all sorts of weird and wonderful foods, tourist trap shops and more traditional ones filled with tea pots, sake cups and chopsticks!

Here's a shot from an absolutely tiny shop, packed to bursting point with every type of chopstick imaginable, one set of which cost about £250!
