Age of Innocence
One of the wonders of Blip is it beautifully reveals the inner psyche of the blipper. On a good blip day I take several pictures of different things, and when I have to whittle it down I inevitably choose a shot of a person. It may not be artsy or have a creative angle, but it speaks something to me. I always run my pick of the day by my husband and, for example, if he had his way, yesterday's shot would have been of a floppy eared goat - fun shot, probably more creative - but the eyes of the little girl waiting for cake held me. So today I posted another picture of my son. I caught him outside watching the wind blowing the leaves down from our tall backyard trees. They were gracefully spinning to the ground and he stopped to take it in. A standstill moment for a kid who is comfortable going a 100 miles per hour... all day long. I probably should have posted the pretty picture of the rose I took today - but these sweet eyes and look of wonder will win every time.
