King Street Flat

This is a study for a painting from my student days in Aberdeen circa 1982. It shows my room-mate sitting on her bed and me (with huge ammounts of artistic licence I might add).
It is the view from my bed...yes students had to share rooms back in the old days and shows the view accross the landing, out of the front door and down the close.
I am meeting up with both my flat-mates this weekend, one of whom I haven't seen for over 25 years! Am looking forward to catching up and this picture takes me right back to those happy times.
