Abandoned mine

This is Grove Rake Mine near Rookhope. It operated all the way up to the 1990s before being decommisioned. I drive past Grove Rake on my new route to work - well, most days anyway! I've worked out that there are about 7 different routes I can take. Most of them do go this way, over the fells into Weardale.
