The Storr

The Storr (719 mtrs) which is at the southern end of the Trotternish ridge in the North of the Isle of Skye.
Seen here from the Moll road just east of the Highland Council Quarry. If you look at the larger image you will see the pillar that is known as The Old Man of Storr. This feature can bhe seen on a clear day as you approah Portree.
It makes a popular destination for walkers in the Summer months. I have been there in the snow too.
