Leeuwarden

Been a long day and it's far from over yet! Drove up from Brussels to Friesland on a manic road listening to a crazy Marc Ribot album that thankfully gave way to soothing Ethiopian jazz. We did better today than our friends The Brute Chorus who had a blowout on the M6 on their way to Carlisle (everyone safe thankfully)...Mat's twisted his neck somehow though so I'm feeling sorry for him as he's the only driver.
We had a fantastic meal this evening courtesy of the charming staff at tonight's gig at Paddy O'Ryan's Irish bar in Leeuwarden. Not due to start till 10pm, running through till late... Come down if you're in the area!
It's pretty dark in here as you can see from the photo ('it's a bit grainy isn't it?'-mat) but you'll find us in the back corner behind the piano.
