A new star

Eurostar is overhauling its fleet and is buying 10 new trains from Siemens, a German company. The French are not too pleased about this as it used to be a French company supplying the trains. One of the new trains was on display in Hyde Park today. Shiny and sleek it can reach speeds of 320 km per hour. This is absolutely brilliant I think as going home to Germany by train is becoming so much more an option - rather than having to use horrible Ryanair as only they fly to my hometown.
