Baffled Blue Tit

I have spent an enjoyable few minutes watching a group of blue tits trying to work out how to get at the nuts in the squirrel feeder! Some less than intelligent squirrel chomped his way through the balsa lid earlier in the year, leaving a bluetit sized hole. One of the gang sussed out what needed to be done and popped in and out several times with his rewards. The others pecked at the plastic and hopped around the platform, seeing but not understanding.
