Jeonju

What a morning! Up, carting our bags down to the subway to find a train out of town, and finally getting to the next location of our holiday...Jeonju. It is a good bit smaller, and there are a lot less signs in English here, but it is a lovely wee place. At least we are staying in the heart of the action.

We have had some coffees in the days we've been here, and have been to some fantastic little coffee shops - the owner working, barely speaking English, but being so, so friendly to us...it almost feels like we are being welcomed into their homes. This is one of the wall decorations that I just loved from as soon as we sat down!

We had our first no-english-on-the-menu situation tonight, Anna looking for things with no meat, me, looking for things with no fish, and only generic pictures of dishes to help us (and our fabulous, potentially life-saving 'point-it' book). In the end, I got something, Anna got something, and we were both happy and well fed :) This part of the country is supposed to be great for feeding - looking forward to my mealtimes!
