Watercolor - A Study in Greys

Today was dreary and rainy for most of the day.
I went to my watercolor class where we learned to mix the color grey. This is done in watercolors by blending small amounts of the Primary colors: Red + Yellow + Blue. Depending on how much of each color you add into the blend - the Grey will change from perhaps a steel blue-grey to a greenish grey, a pinkish grey, a lavender grey or another variation.
Then we painted a mountains and river scene to highlight the different hues we obtained.
Except for the mountain right under the greenish sky, to which I added a small amount of sienna brown to my grey blend, EVERY single color is a Grey blend and was hand mixed by me for this scene.
The white trail at the bottom in the water is wax resist and eraser blot out.
