Mr Blue Sky
An unremarkable photo I guess, but a symbol of A Good Day.
Was dull and overcast and had clearly been raining when we headed out to school this morning (in the car, because we were running too late to walk :-/). Went to get petrol, then as I drove back into the drive I was greeted by this.
It's funny how it's easy to be productive on a sunny day innit? Got all the housework done, started prep for my chutney, peeled 5lbs of onions ready for pickling, wshing dried on the line and all that stuff.
Son Two has been an absolute joy and delight today, very giggly and playful. Little sod knows just how to make me forgive him for getting me up at 5.30!
Son One came home v late from school - he'd been to a friend's house and they'd had a fabulous time by the sound of it. Not quite sure his mate has got the hang of Match Attax 'swaps' though, because Son One has definitely come home with more than he went with ;-)
Two songs have provided my internal soundtrack today. One from my misspent yoof, and a more spiritual one that happens to be one of Son One's favourites too. Enjoy :-)
