The Wedding

The wedding was wonderful today. Selina (the bride) was absolutely stunning.

She arrived in the traditional white wedding dress and after the few speeches and a meal, she changed into this beautiful red dress. It is traditional to give money in a red envelope as a gift and to collect the envelopes and thank the guests, the bride and groom visit each table and talk with each guest. The red envelope is given to the bride in exchange for a cigarette which the groom then lights. Some non-smokers prefer to make a toast and a glass of something but most bite the bullet and have a few coughing drags to honour the happy couple.

I am off to Harbin tomorrow to spend a little more time with my younger son who turns 26 on Saturday.. MAN.. I feel old.
