Cumberland Stone

Today I learned one thing, always keep my camera with me. We were out bird watching and because it was intermittent drizzling rain. I did not take my camera with me. Of course, and not an area came and circled around the heads about 8 feet for about 5 min. What wonderful pictures I could've taken. However, at the entrance to the Cumberland farm fields there is this stone, honoring Capt. William S McFarlin, who served in the Civil War. Here is some information from the history of Carver about the Capt.
