The Half Canned Cooks

Jen got our tickets for the launch event of Lupe Pintos second book: The Half Caned Cooks. It's at Bennet's Bar, Tollcross on Monday 25th October. Can't wait!

Day two of work and I actually got to see the code and application that I have been hearing about. Didn't really get very far into itor make any actual changes but I did some research on the many and varied 3rd party javascript libraries in use.

Went to Yes! Sushi for lunch with Jen and we shared a nice selection of sashimi, the only complaint being that plastic chopsticks are no good for picking up raw fish, wooden ones are much better.

Despite the outing for lunch Jen also made a trip to Lup Pinto and Eddie's so we had mexican themed John Dory for tea, an absolutely fabulous fish to go with mexican as it can stand the bold flabours very well.

Got to the end of Shutter Island after that, enjoyed it even though the disc from Lovefilm jumped in a couple of places and we had watched it in two sittings. I can imagine it was very good watched all in one go with no errors.
